Virtual Mini Visits – Coming Soon
Disclaimer – Horses with Hearts does not offer pony rides or do birthday parties.

Mobile mini visits are 1.5 hours long. We bring 2 miniature horses with trained volunteers to provide interactive and engaging activities for participants. We can be inside or outside. We bring everything needed for those participating to enjoy a fun, clean, and safe experience. Visits can be one time, a few times a year, or on a more regular basis.
While interacting with the minis, individuals will engage in conversations, be motivation to participate in activities that are creative, and bring awareness, joy, smiles, laughter, and memories made and shared with others. Activities will allow participants to take part in many activities which may include: petting, grooming, leading, dressing them up, and/or engaging in activities to develop important life skills. We promise you will enjoy your visit and it’s great for your mental health matter your age!
We are working towards providing virtual miniature horse program that will be designed for elementary school children and facilities serving aging adults who are experiencing social isolation. Students and residents will have the opportunity to engage with the minis at the farm through video technology as Horses with Hearts volunteers and the minis participate in fun activites.
The three-dimensional movement of the horse mimics the human walk. The corrective stimulation and exercise from this movement profoundly affects the physical, cognitive, sensory and vestibular systems, which in turn can create abilities in a person with a disability to accomplish things previously not thought possible.
The horse is also a tremendous motivator. Horses and humans together often create a natural bonding relationship. Participants have been known to say their first words, or have taken their first steps because of the powerful influence of the horse. Plus, it is just plain fun!
